What You’ll Do: - Design, build, and own Scope’s core technology stack — from architecture decisions to hands-on coding. - Develop and scale APIs, infrastructure, and AI/ML systems that power our product. - Work closely with the founding team on product roadmap, strategy, and technical vision. - Set engineering standards and help define our technical culture. - Tackle complex technical challenges while balancing speed and quality in a fast-moving environment. - Help recruit and mentor future engineers as the team grows. What We’re Looking For: - 4+ years of experience building production-grade software (bonus if you’ve been at a startup or built 0→1 products). - Strong backend engineering skills (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js) and experience designing scalable systems. - Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD). - Ability to collaborate on product design and business decisions — you care about the “why,” not just the “how.” - Passion for building and shipping quickly while laying a solid technical foundation. - Entrepreneurial mindset — you’re resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity.
